This web series takes the form of a road trip along which wine lovers can explore Bourgogne appellation’s 13 geographical denomination with Marie and Alain, two youtubers who set off to find out more about the wine, the winemakers, and also the gastronomy and cultural heritage of each terroir.
In this episode, Marie & Alain invite you in the vineyards of Bourgogne Chitry, that are situated between the Auxerrois and Chablis.
Chitry-le-Fort is a small village in a valley surrounded by vines. There, you’ll find an old fortified church (13th Century). Its huge tower protected the village from looting during the wars. Chitry is not on the main roads. You have to go there… but you won’t regret it!
Close to Chablis and the Auxerrois, Chitry-le-Fort is a typical village where hikers will find their paradise. It offers a natural playgroung for explorers, wethern on foot, horseback or by bicycle. It produces red, white, and rosé wines in the Bourgogne Chitry AOC, characterful yet little-known wines, just waiting to be discovered.
