Bourgogne Road-Trip – Bourgogne Montrecul (7/13)

429

This web series takes the form of a road trip along which wine lovers can explore Bourgogne appellation’s 13 geographical denomination with Marie and Alain, two youtubers who set off to find out more about the wine, the winemakers, and also the gastronomy and cultural heritage of each terroir.

On the hillside overlooking the west of Dijon, the capital of the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region, we discover the appellation Bourgogne Montrecul. Here, the vines are located in a suburban area, on a hillside facing east, between 257 and 300 metres in altitude, at the northernmost point of the Côte de Nuits vineyards. This Climat, one of the very few that is recognised as a Régionale AOC, offers an unobstructed view of the city of Dijon and the plain of the Saône. It offers red wines, the Bourgogne Montrecul, with a beautiful ruby colour, spicy notes and black fruits, to be discovered absolutely.
