Wednesday 23 March – On the occasion of the Grands Jours de Bourgogne, the Bourgogne Wine industry representatives gathered with the press to discuss the latest news.
After revealing the first figures of participation, Raphaël Dubois, President of the association Grands Jours de Bourgogne, talked about the vintages that are now available (2019, 2020, and even the first 2021).
Then, Laurent Delaunay, co-President of the Bourgogne Wine Board took stock of 2021 and outlined the 2022 outlook for Bourgogne wines on their main markets.
François Labet, President of the Bourgogne Wine Board, introduced the brand-new web series “The Bourgogne Road Trip” (13 videos) that will be launched on March 30. He also announced the next opening (May 6) of the Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne immersive and innovative workshops in Dijon, in the main hall of the Cité de la Gastronomie et des vins.
Finally, Benoît de Charette, President of the Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne, explained how are evolving the building works and the fundraising campaign, one year ahead of the 3 openings (Chablis, Beaune and Mâcon).
