Sunday 18 November, the Bourgogne Wines Trade organized a press conference about the actuality on the occasion of the 158th Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction.
Louis-Fabrice Latour, Co-President of the Bourgogne Wine Board (BIVB) takes stock of the progress of this major project that will structure the wine tourism offer in Bourgogne for a long time. In Mâcon and Chablis, the project management team (architect and scenographer) is now in place. For Beaune, the call for tender will be launched very quickly by the City Council, for a laying of the foundation stone in late 2019.
The opening of the 3 sites is scheduled for spring 2021.
The BIVB’s role involves overseeing the project which will be managed through a subsidiary, a status allowing it to benefit from patronage.
