Sunday 18 November, the Bourgogne Wines Trade organized a press conference about the actuality on the occasion of the 158th Hospices de Beaune Wine Auction.
Thiébault Huber, President de la CAVB (winemakers’ family), delighted with the last two vintages harvested in Bourgogne (2017 and 2018) announces that 2019 will be the year of the turn for the implementation of the Regional Charter “Terroir and Territory: A commitment for the future”. After the signing of this Charter in 2017, 2018 was the year of information and communication, but also the state of play and the testing of new practices. In 2019, "we will have to take the 4,500 Bourgogne winegrowers to change their practices”.
