Straight talk invokes a direct and open conversation on a given topic. In addition, very often, the American trade and press refer to the Chablis or Petit Chablis appellations as "Straight Chablis".
This is why the wines of Chablis have decided to launch with SommCon USA, Straight Chablis, a series of interviews hosted by May Matta-Aliah, Ambassador of Bourgogne wines. The aim is to provide the English-speaking wine industry with the most up-to-date information on the region, covering more in-depth topics on lesser-known Chablis appellations, vintages with interviews with producers, retailers, sommeliers or of the Masters of Wine.
This episode is hosted by two inspiring and passionate speakers, May Matta-Aliah, Bourgogne wines ambassador, and Christy Canterbury MW, the 7th woman in the US to earn the Master of Wine title.
Christy speaks and writes about wine, critiques wine, and designs wine programs for hospitality venues and private clients. She is also an avid fan of the wines of Chablis.
