The Givry appellation investigated through its geology and geography

430

The Bourgogne Wine Board invites you to enjoy this video in which Jean-Pierre Renard, Expert Instructor at the Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne (Bourgogne Wine School), explains the geographical and geological characteristics of the Givry appellation. At the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, Givry’s vineyard, which has been shaped by geological movements through many centuries, offers a wide variety of soils and sub-soils that has a great influence on the personality of the Givry wines. This video is taken from the “Rendez-vous avec les vins de Bourgogne” show (June 2018).
